About Fairvern Nursing Home
Fairvern Nursing Home is nestled between Fairy Lake and Lake Vernon on the Muskoka River in Huntsville. It is a not-for-profit, fully accredited Long Term Care Home which provides quality 24-hour care to 76 residents. The basic costs of nursing and accommodation are shared between the province and the residents or their families. In addition, the Home relies on donations to provide many necessities and programs for its residents. The Fairvern Fundraising Committee continues efforts to raise awareness of the need for the Capital funds that will benefit and help rebuild our nursing home.
How can you support Fairvern?
In May, 2018 Fairvern recieved the long awaited Provincial approval and funding for an expanded modern home for its vulnerable residents. District and Municipal councils have committed their political and financial support. See news report here and here.
Residents, families, management, staff and volunteers are enthusiastic about the future of Fairvern, which is celebrating 37 years of quality care to Huntsville area residents. To build a larger, improved nursing home requires millions of dollars, and we need much ongoing support. Each donation or fund raising project benefits those who come to know Fairvern as home, both now and in the future, and is a meaningful contribution to the quality of family life in our community.
Thank you for supporting Our Fairvern!
